First you need to configure the client (after you have downloaded it). To do that, start the client with the "-config" option. This will bring you to the distributed.net client configuration menu, shown below.
Choose "General Client Options" by typing "1" and then "Enter." Now you should be at the General Client Options menu:
Select "Your email address" (1).
